How Many Kilometres Is It Between Antalya and Kumköy?

The distance between Antalya city centre and Kumköy — which belongs to Manavgat — is about 65-70 km. From Antalya Airport (AYT) the distance to Kumköy is similar; because the airport lies east of the centre, the driving times work out close to one another in practice.

Route and Time

You reach Kumköy by heading east on the D-400 highway towards Manavgat and Side. In normal traffic the drive takes 55-70 minutes; in the summer months the local congestion can stretch that a little.

Transport Options

  • Private transfer: Hotel-to-door in a single vehicle, no changes — the fare is fixed at booking.
  • Public transport: A bus from Antalya bus terminal to Manavgat, then a Side/Kumköy minibus; about 2-2.5 hours with a change.
  • Taxi: Runs on the meter, so with an opening charge, a per-km rate and a night tariff the total is not clear until the trip ends.

Why Do People Choose Kumköy?

With long sandy beaches, clean water and a location right next to Side, Kumköy is a favourite especially with families. Those after a calmer break than the crowds of Side tend to choose it. For a comfortable airport arrival, with Duru VIP Transfer the driver meets you at the terminal exit with a name sign, your flight is tracked, and you are taken straight to the hotel door.
