How far is Gazipaşa from Antalya Airport?
The distance between Antalya Airport (AYT) and the Gazipaşa district is around 190-200 kilometres, and you reach it along the D400 eastern route, passing Alanya, in roughly 2.5 to 3 hours on average. Gazipaşa is a remote district at the eastern end of Antalya; after Alanya there are still about 55-65 kilometres to go.
The Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP) option
Gazipaşa has a small airport of its own: Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport (GZP). This airport is far closer to Gazipaşa and the Alanya area, although it has fewer flights than Antalya Airport. If you can find a flight, GZP is the most practical way to reach the region with a short transfer.
Ways to travel from AYT to Gazipaşa
- Private transfer: The most comfortable option for the long distance; it runs door to door, the fare is settled when you book and does not change on the way. The driver meets you at the terminal exit with a name sign.
- Taxi: It runs on the meter; because of the long distance the amount is not clear until the trip ends, and the night tariff is higher.
- Connecting bus: You first travel from Antalya bus station to Alanya, then continue toward Gazipaşa by dolmuş; with the changes, the journey can take four to five hours.
