How many kilometres is it from the airport to Side?
The road distance between Antalya Airport (AYT) and Side is roughly 65 km. Via the D400 coastal road it normally takes between 1 and 1.5 hours; heavy summer-season traffic can lengthen this.
The route to Side
From the airport exit you join the D400 and continue east. Before the entrance to the town of Manavgat you will see signs for Side, and a short while later you reach the centre of Side. Side itself lies about 3 km from the centre of Manavgat district, set on an ancient peninsula that has been inhabited for thousands of years.
Where to stay in Side
Side’s historic centre is made up of narrow streets that are partly closed to vehicle traffic. The larger resort hotels sit outside the centre, in more spacious areas such as Kumköy, Evrenseki, Çolaklı and Gündoğdu. These districts are at slightly different distances from the airport, so sharing your hotel’s exact name and neighbourhood when you book lets your driver plan the best route.
Transfer to Side and timing your return
The most comfortable way from the airport to Side is a door-to-door private vehicle with Duru VIP Transfer: your flight is tracked, your driver greets you by name at the terminal exit, and you travel straight to your hotel. For the return, it is best to set off from your hotel at least 2.5–3 hours before your flight; leaving a margin for traffic and security checks removes any risk of running late.
