Antalya Airport to Side takes about 55–70 minutes
The distance between Antalya Airport (AYT) and Side is about 65–70 kilometres, and in normal traffic the drive takes 55–70 minutes — roughly an hour. Side belongs to the Manavgat district and, with its ancient theatre, turquoise coves and historic streets, is one of the most visited spots in the Antalya area.
What affects the time
The route follows the D400 highway; after passing the Serik and Belek junctions, you turn towards Manavgat to reach Side. In the summer holiday season traffic can build up on this stretch and lengthen the journey, while in the early morning and at night the road usually flows freely. When planning the time, it is worth taking your arrival hour and the season into account.
The terminals
Antalya Airport has two main terminals — domestic and international — with most charter flights arriving at the international one. Which terminal you land at does not change the journey time; with a private transfer the driver meets you at the correct terminal.
Options for reaching Side
The most predictable option is a private transfer: with Duru VIP Transfer the fare is confirmed at booking and does not change en route, the driver meets you at the terminal exit holding a name sign, and your flight is tracked if it is delayed. A taxi runs on a meter and the amount becomes clear when the trip ends. There is no direct bus from the airport to Side; public transport involves changing vehicles and the total time grows noticeably.
A short note on arriving in Side
Vehicle access to Side's old-town area is restricted; your driver drops you at the nearest possible point, and the large hotels are generally around the main road. You can set up your transfer plan here.
