How to Get from Antalya Airport to Isparta
Antalya Airport (AYT) sits roughly 130-140 km from the centre of Isparta along the D685 highway. Depending on traffic and weather, the drive takes between 1 hour 45 minutes and 2 hours 15 minutes. Much of the route crosses mountainous terrain, so snow and ice can make winter driving demanding.
Your Travel Options
- Intercity bus: Operators such as Pamukkale, Kamil Koç and Metro run regular services between Antalya's main bus terminal (Yeni Garaj) and Isparta. The catch: you first have to reach the terminal from the airport (~15 km), which means at least one extra connection and waiting around with your luggage.
- Taxi: A taxi runs on the meter. Over this kind of distance the fare climbs quickly and you cannot know the total before you arrive; night tariffs push it higher still.
- Private chauffeur transfer (the easiest): With Duru VIP Transfer you travel door to door in one vehicle, with no changes, straight to your address in Isparta.
Why a Private Transfer Helps
Your driver greets you at the terminal exit with a name board, and because your flight is tracked, a change in landing time does not throw off your plans. The price you confirm at booking is fixed and stays the same however long the road takes. You can arrange the return leg at the same time.
What to See in Isparta
Lake Eğirdir, Kovada National Park, the famous rose gardens (best in May and June) and the ancient city of Yalvaç are the highlights. Intercity chauffeur transfers can also be arranged to districts such as Eğirdir, Yalvaç, Atabey and Şarkikaraağaç — just share your route and address.
