What is a hotel shuttle service?
A hotel shuttle is a shared transport service that the hotel offers its guests along set routes. You usually meet it in two forms: an airport shuttle, which runs between the airport and the hotel at fixed times with several guests travelling in the same vehicle; and an in-resort shuttle, which makes regular trips to points such as the beach, a shopping centre or the town centre.
The pros and cons of a shuttle
Pros: It is often free or low-cost and is available at some of the larger hotels.
Cons: You are tied to fixed departure times, you may have to wait for other guests, the shuttle may already have left if your plane is delayed, and it can be awkward with children or bulky luggage. Most smaller hotels do not offer one at all.
How it differs from a private transfer
Unlike a shuttle, a private transfer means a vehicle and driver dedicated entirely to you. Your flight is tracked, so even if the plane is late your driver waits for you. The amount you will pay is known in advance, there are no other guests in the car, and you are not tied to a fixed departure time.
Which suits you?
If a flexible time, arriving straight at your hotel and no waiting matter to you, a private transfer stands out. With Duru VIP Transfer you are met at the Antalya Airport exit and driven directly — roughly 20–30 minutes to Lara and the centre, and about 30–40 minutes to Belek — with no shared schedule to fit.
