Antalya Airport to Kemer Normally Takes 40-55 Minutes
The roughly 45-kilometre road between Antalya Airport (AYT) and central Kemer takes about 40 to 55 minutes in normal traffic. The time can change with the hour, the season and, above all, the holiday rush of the summer months.
What Affects the Travel Time
The road to Kemer is winding because it runs along the coast where the Taurus Mountains meet the sea. In the summer season traffic on this route increases and the journey can take longer. Times also vary by the area you are heading to:
- Beldibi: about 30-45 minutes (the closest part of Kemer to the airport)
- Göynük: about 35-50 minutes
- Kemer centre: about 40-55 minutes
- Çamyuva: about 50-65 minutes
- Tekirova: about 60-75 minutes
The Route
From the airport you join the D-400, pass the Antalya ring road and enter the coastal road. You pass Beldibi, Göynük and Çamyuva in turn before reaching central Kemer. It is a scenic road, but its bends mean the season and the time of day matter when estimating how long it will take.
How to Keep the Timing Under Control
There is no direct public transport from the airport to Kemer; travelling into the city centre and changing to a minibus can push the total journey beyond two hours. A taxi runs on the meter, and the fare rises as the expected time grows in traffic. With a Duru VIP Transfer private car the trip is planned around your flight: the driver waits at the terminal exit with a name sign, your flight is tracked so a late landing does not count against you, and you go straight to your hotel. You can arrange your Kemer transfer here.
