Where is the airport tram stop?
At Antalya Airport the tram stop sits on the lower level of the bridge crossing between the terminal buildings. Passengers from both Terminal 1 (domestic) and Terminal 2 (international) can reach it on foot — simply follow the airport signage. The stop is named "Havalimanı" (Airport) and forms one of the end points of Line T1.
The T1 line route
Line T1 runs from Antalya Airport to various points across the city — the museum district, near Kaleiçi old town and towards Konyaaltı beach. Because there are many stops along the way, the full journey from the airport to the centre can take between 30 and 50 minutes. Trams run at set intervals during the day; late at night the frequency drops, and in the early morning services may not have started yet.
Taking the tram into town: practical notes
- Payment is by AntalyaKart only; cash and debit/credit cards are not accepted on board.
- You buy the AntalyaKart from kiosks at the stops and certain sales points, and you need it before boarding.
- The tram can be awkward both physically and practically with large suitcases, and finding space during busy hours is hard.
An alternative for passengers with large luggage
Boarding a tram and changing lines with big suitcases is tiring. In that case a private transfer is far more comfortable: a driver meets you at the terminal exit with a name sign and takes you straight to your hotel or address. The fare is confirmed at booking and does not change along the way, and because your flight is tracked, the driver waits for you even if the plane lands late. For families with children, travellers with reduced mobility or anyone who just wants to reach their hotel quickly after a tiring flight, a door-to-door transfer is the easiest solution. Larger groups can choose a minibus or midibus.
