Are There Beaches in Serik?

Yes, the Serik district has some lovely beaches. The catch is that Serik town itself sits inland with no coastline of its own; the beaches lie in the coastal towns that belong to the district. The best known are Belek, Boğazkent and Kadriye.

The Main Beach Areas Within Serik

  • Belek: One of the longest and best-kept stretches of Mediterranean shore, where hotel beaches sit side by side with public sections; it is also famous for its golf resorts.
  • Boğazkent: East of Belek, with quieter, less crowded beaches, small coves and a natural shoreline.
  • Kadriye: On the coastal strip between Belek and Boğazkent, known for its family beaches and large hotel complexes.

Reaching the Beaches from Serik Town

From the centre of Serik the beaches are a short ride away: about 9 km to Belek (~10 minutes) and about 18 km to Boğazkent (~20 minutes). On these short hops you can use a dolmuş (shared minibus) or a taxi.

Transfers from the Airport to Serik’s Beaches

Antalya Airport is about 35 km from Belek and roughly 40-45 km from Boğazkent. To reach your hotel directly, a private transfer is the most practical option: with Duru VIP Transfer the fare is fixed at booking, the driver meets you at the terminal exit with a name sign, your flight is tracked, and you are taken to the door of your beach hotel.
