How does travelling from Antalya to Belek by bus work?
The distance from central Antalya to Belek is about 35–40 kilometres, and from the airport about 30–35 kilometres. On the D400 highway, in normal traffic the drive takes 35–45 minutes. Public transport is possible, but its structure involves changing vehicles; on this page we explain the real situation and the alternatives plainly.
The connecting structure of buses and minibuses
To reach Belek from Antalya by public transport you first board a bus heading towards Serik or Manavgat from the city centre, then get off at the Belek junction and change onto a local minibus. Belek has no official bus terminal, so the vehicles drop off at certain points. With the change, the total journey can reach 60–90 minutes and is quite awkward with large suitcases. There is no direct bus connection from the airport to Belek.
The taxi alternative
If you would rather take a taxi than the bus, the meter runs; an opening charge plus a per-kilometre rate, with a higher night tariff, and the total is not clear until the trip ends.
